French Onion Soup

Classic French onion soup with spanish onion, beef broth, cheese, and a splash of brandy.

  1. Looks amazing! Were there any leftovers? Also, how long do you simmer those veggies together to make that greatness?

  2. We had leftovers because there we only two of us eating, but make sure you only put the bread in when you want to eat it... otherwise it's soggy mush.

    Browning the onions took about 45 mins, and the simmer with stock took about an hour. However, I was in a rush - the longer it takes to make it, the better it turns out.
