Cheese Crusted Steak

We were clean out of groceries today, but I was inspired by Chef Michael Smith again - A cheese crusted steak, made with beef, bread, butter, and cheese. Served with a wine and cream reduction sauce, so it's basically an all-meat dinner!

Bonus: Hopefully going see Michael Smith tomorrow a the Ex. The topic? The Art and Science of Chocolate Chip Cookies.

DIY Burrito Bar

By David

It's Family Night at our house, which means that our cousin comes over and we make a feast. Today's menu: DIY Burrito Bar!

Ingredients (clockwise from the top):
  • Cheese
  • Chicken with homemade taco seasoning
  • Bacon
  • Sautéed onions and red peppers
  • Sirloin steak with homemade taco seasoning
  • Avocado
  • Mango
  • Tomatoes
  • Spinach
I forgot to use the chutney from the night before, but there'll be more opportunities to "unleash the peach".
